Social Conformity: Emily, a marketing manager, was consistently assigned tasks outside her interest area, such as logistics. She accepted these without question to avoid disappointing her boss and to appear as a “team player,” even though she feels drained and unfulfilled.
Authentic Living: Recognizing her passion for creative strategy, Emily scheduled a meeting with her boss to discuss aligning her tasks with her strengths.
